  for those of you that remember the story a couple of weeks ago about my 4 year old daughter that declared us a witness free zone to her grandparents (my extremely devout parents!!!

  That's enough right there.I might add that people usually imitate the God they worship,who by process of elimination is NOT Jesus Christ.

  This would account for the dog eat dog turmoil among JW's.[James 3:15,16]

  JWs--cult or am i just bitter?

  after reading many experiences and comments on the board, i have begun to have questions.

  questions that i really didnt know i until i read them.

  as a recently df'd person, i am still struggling with whether jws are really a cult or is it just that im bitter for being torn away from the only thing that i knew, where i had friends that i thought loved me.

  i went to the meeting yesterday because my cousin was visiting and wanted to know where the kh was located.

  i finally offered to go with her to avoid any issues.

  without a doubt the most time-worn excuse of jw's when it comes to errors, omissions and failures of the jw parent organization goes something like this:i only ask that things be put in perspective and to also realize that the writers of the society are not inspired.. .

  The Rockland Massachusetts Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses presents: Bob and Roberta's most excellent African Adventure.
  Bob and Roberta Max out their credit card $4,000 to go on assignment from Jehovah.[1989] Their assignment is two weeks @ the $ociety's Branch under construction in Nigeria.Bob bangs nails and Roberta folds men's underwear in 'her assignment from Jehovah' @ Laundry department. When they got their assignment orders from Brooklyn I am telling you they really believed in their hearts of hearts that this came right down from Almighty God himself. I ,took Bob aside and asked him if he was speaking in hyperbole.NO was his answer,a quiver of fear came over me which I shrugged off for the time being...

  just a question for the board's input.... background information:.

  my wife, raised in a jw home, very popular elder as her father, living through the entire 1975 thing ("honey don't worry about passing 7th grade.

  next year will be the new system..."), but beat up for years by the mind-control and spiritual abuse by the wts.... she has recently officially da'd from the society this spring, had her first birthday party ever (a huge blast of a great time!).
